Amy Godbee is honored to direct the Brooklet United Methodist Church Preschool. Amy graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development in 1997. Amy has been on staff at the Preschool since 2008. Prior to joining the preschool team, her professional experience included childcare licensing for the state of Georgia, providing technical assistance to childcare programs looking to enhance their quality and conducting assessments at childcare programs to assess quality and teaching in infant, toddler and preschool classrooms. Amy enjoyed the experiences of observing and learning in childcare programs across our state but felt a call to put her skills to use locally. Coming on staff here at preschool has been a wonderful opportunity to serve families, grow with children and have a hand in sharing God’s love to the hope of tomorrow- our children. Amy also serves in the Children’s Ministries here at Brooklet Methodist in the Children’s Church/ Godly Play program, Children’s Council, Sunday night ministries, and Vacation Bible School. God has truly favored the Brooklet Community with loving people who support their children tremendously. Amy counts her place in this special family as one of her greatest blessings!
